I was recently asked to do an interview with Bradshaw Consulting about social media marketing, and how small businesses can leverage social media for brand awareness.

I find it really devalues a brand`s social message by using the same message across every platform, it really screams that they don’t know what they are doing. This also brings up an important point, don’t link your Facebook and Twitter accounts! Those that do see a lot less value in their social activities. To be honest it’s a pet peeve of mine lol. I shared a great example of why this is important last week on my fan page. I found a great promotional tweet that ended mid sentence, with a link to a website and not the rest of the promotional message.
