Big news for the retail industry this past year, with announcements from Sears Canada and Zellers closing down many retail outlets, to the exciting news of Target making their way north into the Canadian retail market. Nordstrom is the latest retail outlet to join the ranks of Canadian retailers.

Vancouver is set to get the largest Nordstrom across Canada with 3 levels and more than 230,000 square feet, think of all the shopping you can do.

“It’s exciting to finally have this opportunity to better serve our Canadian customers closer to home and we can’t wait to open our doors,” said Erik Nordstrom. “While we’re fortunate to have many loyal Canadian customers who’ve shopped with us over the years, we recognize we’re new here and that we have to earn our customers’ business.”

Did you know: Nordstrom was originally founded in 1901 as a show store. Nordstrom now operates 231 stores across the US.
