UPS Canada has officially launched in Moncton, New Brunswick and will soon launch a new location in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In an effort to get the word out there, UPS Canada has recently launched a new marketing campaign encouraging customers to visit their website ups.com/neighbourhood, and sign up for an account in order to receive an introductory 20% discount on future shipments with UPS across North America. For small business owners, or those who ship often, a 20% discount is a great offer that would be hard to turn down.
“We already had many customers in Atlantic Canada, but we didn’t have a ground presence in the region so we felt it was a good time to open up that territory,” said Nicolas Dorget, VP of Marketing for UPS Canada.
Marketing campaign specs:

- Promotion via social media
- Promotional events, including in conjunction with Halifax Chamber of Commerce.
UPS Canada plans to expand into 6 other Atlantic Canada cities within the next year.
